This Week, From the Street!

Happy Friday! We’ve had quite a busy week on the street here at Videology. You may have seen the news that we launched DETVgo earlier this week! We are thrilled about this news, and are hoping DETVgo will accelerate the advanced TV industry in a major way.

DETVgo Hits the Market

DETVgo is a self-service, automated advanced TV advertising product powered by the Videology platform. We’re offering agencies and advertisers free access to DETVgo to help facilitate advanced TV transactions and introduce more users to its benefits – allowing seamless activation of advanced TV advertising campaigns.

So, How Does it Work?

DETVgo lets advertisers accurately target their strategic audience with the full scale and impact of traditional TV, as well as the capability of using approved advanced data sets such as purchase behaviors.

In an exclusive interview with Broadcasting & Cable, Scott Ferber, Videology’s CEO and Founder, and Stacy Daft, our GM, Enterprise Business Development, explain the uses, benefits and differentiators of DETVgo. Check it out!

A good quote from the piece is: “Scott Ferber, founder and CEO of Videology, said he is providing access to the data-enabled TV software—called DETVgo—without charge in order to accelerate the industry’s shift to advanced advertising. ‘The whole concept here is, we want to remove the barriers to entry and execution of advanced advertising and programmatic TV,’ Ferber said.”

There’s also a great feature on DETVgo in which really breaks down the product. According to the piece, “With DETVgo, Videology is taking all the benefits of online video ad buying and bringing them to TV. Buyers can target specific audiences using advanced data sets, while reaching a larger group of viewers. Buyers can choose the networks, programs, or dayparts they want to buy on.”

DETVgo is currently available to a select group of users, with open access to all expected during the first week of November. Advertisers and agencies can now pre-order a login for DETVgo by visiting So, what are you waiting for? Sign up for a free login today!

Also Happening This Week…

In other news, our EVP, Sales & Marketing, Mark McKee, spoke at IAB Canada’s Digital Marketing Summit on “Two Truths and a Lie about Converged Video Advertising,” and how brands can drive results through a cross-screen approach.

Additionally, Tony Yi, GM, Strategic Commercial/Business Development at Videology was featured in an interview with Beet.TV on the importance of fending off the FANG digital giants in the advanced television battlefield. Tony explains that what’s needed is for the broader industry to work together and create more initiatives like the OpenAP audience buying consortium in order for the industry to successfully move forward.

As you can see, there’s a lot happening on the street this week! Until next time – have a good weekend!
