Videology Elevates Global Product Lead, Rich Astley, to New Position of Managing Director UK to Drive Leadership in Key European Market

London, June 11, 2014 - Videology—one of the world’s largest video advertising platforms—today announced the expansion of its UK executive leadership team with the appointment of Rich Astley as Managing Director, UK. In response to its rapid European expansion, and continued leadership within the UK, the new role underscores the importance of the UK market to Videology’s growth in the EMEA region.

As the company’s former SVP of Product, based in Videology’s New York headquarters, Rich brings to the UK deep expertise in spearheading global product development, including the company’s television extension tools, known as the TV Amplifier℠ suite of products. With extensive knowledge of Videology’s offering, and a history of driving the product roadmap for Videology’s platform tools, Rich is well-versed in connecting the needs of buyers and sellers with the control and transparency of programmatic technologies, bringing holistic planning to TV and digital.

In conjunction with Videology’s expansion into new markets across EMEA, Rich will be responsible for driving business development and strengthening Videology’s offering and leadership in the UK, the bedrock of the region. He will report into Anne de Kerckhove, Managing Director, EMEA.

Prior to joining Videology, Rich played several key digital leadership roles in the agency world. As Managing Director UK, Rich will also sit on the Internet Advertising Bureau Board, the chief advisory council for IAB UK, and joins the Videology executive team attending Cannes Lions, 15-21st June, of which Videology is an official partner.
