New York, June 25, 2015—Videology— a leading software provider for converged TV and video advertising —today announced that it has hired Mike Mecham for the newly created role of Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Development, to help lead the company to its next phase of growth. Mecham will report into Videology’s President, Scott Macleod.
Mecham is an industry veteran with a track record of successfully helping global companies in the technology and telecom sectors grow revenue streams and forge strategic partnerships. In this new role, Mecham will work closely with the executive, finance and business development teams to help steer and execute against Videology’s strategic roadmap as the company’s technology offering, geographic footprint and client base continue to escalate.

Prior to joining Videology, Mecham spent 10 years at Google and YouTube. Most recently, he was the head of content commercialization for YouTube in Latin America. In addition to leading commercialization efforts for YouTube content, he also developed and managed strategic content partnerships for YouTube with TV and cable networks, TV and film producers, musical recording labels and collection societies, sports clubs and news organizations across Spanish-speaking Latin America. Prior to his work in Latin America, Mecham was manager of strategic partnerships for Google across North America.
Before joining Google, Mecham held development and strategy roles at privately-held NextiraOne, a telecom provider for enterprise customers across North America and Europe, as well as publicly-held XO Communications, where he negotiated and led a series of acquisitions and joint ventures across the US and Europe. He has also held management and analyst positions at AT&T and Bank of America, and started his career in the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency. He holds an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
