Videology Recruits ITV’s Jon Block to Drive Further Innovation

Appointed VP of Product and Platform to manage EMEA wide initiatives

London, July 23, 2015 — Videology, one of the world’s leading software providers for converged TV and video advertising, today announced the expansion of its European leadership team with the appointment of Jon Block as EMEA Vice President of Product and Platform. In response to Videology’s rapid European growth, Block’s new role will see him leading product evangelism in the region, with a focus on helping broadcasters and media agencies in particular to implement Videology’s solutions into their offerings.

Block joins Videology with 15 years’ experience in online media, including seven years at U.K. commercial broadcaster ITV where he was responsible for delivering multi-platform products and commercial innovation. Whilst at ITV, Block launched a number of highly successful advertising products, including innovations in advertising formats as well as video-on-demand.

Joining Videology in September, Block will have a key role in promoting and evangelising the Videology product and enterprise solutions set and be responsible for driving the company’s EMEA product and platform vision with a clear focus on Videology’s support for advertisers, agencies, broadcasters and premium publishers across the EMEA region. Block will be based in the company’s European head office in London and will report to John Tigg, Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships in EMEA.
