Videology Expands Japanese Sales Team to Drive Strategic Business Growth

Tokyo, November 24, 2016 - Videology – a leading software provider for converged TV and video advertising today announced the expansion of its Japanese sales team with three new hires. Masatsune Shironishi joins as Sales Director, Walid Lassoued as Business Development Manager and Kaori Aoki as Sales Account Manager.

Shironishi-san brings excellent experience in both television advertising and technology sales. He previously worked for I&S BBDO Inc where he oversaw media buying for a variety of clients, and Microsoft, where he worked on the company’s video initatives. Most recently, he worked in technology sales for Open Table.

Based in the Tokyo office, Shironishi-san will lead the sales team and be responsible for developing sales talent, improving client relations and leading new business efforts.
Commenting on his new role, Shironishi-san said, “ I am incredibly enthusiastic to have joined a team with such a great depth of experience. It’s an exciting time to be working in video in Japan as the ecosystem begins to truly flourish. I hope to help both established and new video advertisers better understand how Videology can bring efficiency and improved performance to their campaigns.”

Walid Lassoued joins Videology’s Japanese team after 2 years working for the company’s European Enterprise & Broadcaster partnerships. Through his experience working on previous Videology enterprise deals, Lassoued will help Japanese broadcasters bring data enablement, media management and workflow automation to their existing business, similar to Videology’s work with providers such as Rogers Media and Bell Media in Canada. Prior to Videology, Lassoued worked for Axel Springer managing online publishers in France & Benelux. He returns to Japan after studying at the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies.

Aoki-san joins Videology from Criteo. Through her experience with the advertising technology company, she brings a strong industry understanding and a formidable sales record. She will assist Shironishi-san in servicing existing agency relationships and developing new opportunities for partnership expansion.
