TAG Certification is the latest step in Videology’s ongoing commitment to combatting ad fraud
New York, December 20th, 2017— Videology—a leading software provider for converged TV and video advertising—today announced it has been Certified Against Fraud by the Trustworthy Accountability Group (TAG).
TAG is the leading global certification program dedicated to fighting criminal activity and increasing trust in digital advertising. TAG is an independent organization that was launched by the American Association of Advertising Agencies (4A’s), Association of National Advertisers (ANA), and Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB.)
The mission of TAG’s Certified Against Fraud program is to combat fraudulent non-human traffic in the digital advertising supply chain. For years, Videology has been at the forefront of the industry’s anti-bot movement. In 2015, Videology was the first video advertising software provider to integrate with fraud prevention leader White Ops to offer pre-bid bot prevention to both advertisers and suppliers; since then, Videology has blocked over 550 billion in fraudulent bot requests on its platform.
Through this latest TAG certification, Videology further solidifies its proven commitment to fighting ad fraud and providing the highest level of transparency to advertisers.
