As General Counsel for Videology, Dan provides legal leadership on issues including intellectual property, employment, e-commerce and contract law, and negotiates key agreements with Videology’s business partners and vendors.
Dan has extensive experience in the technology space, previously working on the legal staff at PayPal, Inc., Advertising.com, and Adelphia Communications Corporation. Before moving in-house, Dan was in private practice at law firms in Washington, D.C. and Charlottesville.
Prior to starting his legal career, Dan served in the United States Air Force as an intelligence officer specializing in imagery intelligence, completing his service with the rank of Captain. Dan continues to work in the military community today, providing pro bono service to the Veterans Consortium Pro Bono Program where he represents indigent veterans before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.
Dan holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, an M.A. from Georgetown University in National Security Studies, and a B.A. in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis.
